Sylvia Earle

Oceanographer, former Chief Scientist of the US National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, she is now Explorer-in-Residence with the National Geographic Society.

Russell Mittermeier

President of Conservation International, primatologist, herpetologist (specialist of reptiles and amphibians), biological anthropologist, he is widely considered to be one of the Founding Fathers of ecosystem conservation.


Ronald Jumeau

Permanent Representative of the Seychelles to the United Nations and Ambassador to the United States since 2007, he represents the Indian Ocean at IMPAC3.


Anada Tiega

Former National Director of Niger’s Wildlife and Fisheries, he is now Secretary General of the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, which links land- and sea-conservation issues.
